|A guide to some of our extensive range of pressure switches. |
PVL has an abundance of high-quality products that can be used to measure pressure.
It is important that companies find a device that meets their exact specifications, so choosing the right switch is vital.
Something that separates us from our rivals is our in-house team of expert engineers, who can use their vast
experience to guide you towards the best product for your needs.
Before you contact our team, it is a good idea to browse through some of our offerings to give you a better idea of
what you might require. Here's a guide to our extensive collection of pressure switches.
|Normally Open/ Normally Closed Contact Pressure Switches |
| ||Our NO/NC Contact Switches are hugely popular. PVL's most popular is the ES-41 Pressure |
Switch, which is a cost-effective device made by Euroswitch.
Coming with a low cost & in a range of different formats.
We have a special offer for customers who order in bulk, with discounts of 10%, 15% and 20%
available to those who order ten, 50 and 100 items respectively.
|The device provides 0.1 to 50 bar adjustment ranges and can handle overpressures up to 300 bar. It comes with a |
nitrile seal as standard and has a pressure range between -40ºC and 140ºC.
Another popular device within this part of our range is the ES-40 Pressure Switch. Also made by Euroswitch, this low-cost product can withstand over-pressure up to 800 bar, has 50-300 Bar adjustment range & comes with a stainless steel piston.
|Change-Over Contact Pressure Switches |
| ||PVL has a wide range of pressure switches with change-over contacts. |
Take the ES-48 pressure switch for all voltages for example. This device can handle
overpressures up to 900 bar and comes with IP65 protection terminals.
With zinc plated steel or inox body, the switch is robust and will stand the test of time. The ES-48 switch has a very reasonable price and has a temperature range up to 100ºC.
|Alternatively, you might opt for the B12 Pressure Switch With Scale, which is manufactured by Fantini. Costing £42 |
(excluding VAT), this product offers -0.2 to 300 bar adjustment ranges and is designed to withstand over pressures
up to 350 bar.
It is widely used in for compression plants, boilers, autoclaves, ventilation plants, tanks and lubrication plants and features a stainless steel sensing element membrane. Like all of our pressure switches, the B12 has been made from sturdy materials, which means customers should not have to replace it for a long time. It comes with SPDT contacts and has a switch rating of 220Vac/6A.
|Electrical Contacts |
| ||If you are looking for electrical pressure switches, you have come to the right place. |
One product that stands out in particular is the OMNI-P Pressure Transducer, which is
manufactured by Honsberg - part of the GHM Group. This product costs £575.02 (excluding VAT)
and provides customers with eight ranges up to 200 bar. It has a scratchproof, toughened glass
display window and also features stainless steel wetted parts, ensuring the device is as robust as
|Designed for industrial use, the transducer is easy to adjust and offers simple to follow readings. It is generally used |
for measurement of static and dynamic pressures in liquids and gases. Alternatively, the Flex-P & P1 Pressure switch - which is made by Honsberg - might be more suitable for your business.
This device is used for industrial applications in processing, measurement systems and pressure control and comes
with factory-set switching points. This means customers can have the switch adjusted to meet their exact
|Differential Contacts |
| ||We supply an array of differential pressure switches that can be used across a range of |
industries. PVL is aware that companies have budgets to stick to, which is why we try to cover all
bases when selecting new products for our customers.
Costing just £20 (excluding VAT), the 930.8x Differential Pressure Switch is an inexpensive option
that is ideal for low pressure applications.
|Made by Beck, this device has a graduated knob for easy adjustment and comes with a silicone diaphragm. It is up to |
50 mbar overpressure proof and has a temperature range between -20ºC and 85ºC.
This switch is used for monitoring air filters and ventilators, overheating protection for fan heaters, controlling air and
fire protection flaps, monitoring industrial cooling-air circuits, monitoring flows in ventilation ducts and frost protection
for heat exchangers.
If you are looking for a more advanced product, the 705-010 Differential Pressure Switch 0.3-2 Bar is certainly worthy
This device costs £238.22 and is VAT free. It comes with a 0.3 to two bar adjustment range and is easy to adjust
with an allen key. The switch is made from brass, although stainless steel versions are also available.
It has a temperature range between -25ºC and 85ºC and can handle a wide range of media, including air, hydraulic
oil, water and oil emulsions.
|Pressure Accessories |
| ||When selecting a new switch for your business, it is important that you consider what additional |
accessories are available.
These can range from protective rubber boots and caps to potted cables and plug options for OEM
devices. We also offer SM Pressure Snubbers, which are manufactured by Elettrotec.
These can be used with any of our pressure switches and are to protect the switch mechanism from hydraulic noise and pressure spikes.
|This helps to prevent any damage, ensuring companies do not suffer from costly downtime. |
Snubbers are used to curtail pressure surges/pulsation risks and are certainly a cost-effective optional extra.
They cost just £8.17 (excluding VAT) and when you consider how much money is lost when machines break down,
these devices undoubtedly pay for themselves.
