If the water level becomes too low in the reservoir, the lever drops due to the weight of float and the ball-valve opens to allow full flow.
CLOSE
The buoyancy of float causes the lever to rise and closes the ball-valve.
Because of the leverage exerted by the float arm, high water pressure
will not pose a problem
