Want to measure flow so slow that it’s like a dripping nose?
Click here to see a fascinating video of the amazing Honsberg FLEX-FIN in operation, displaying gradually increasing flow. The FLEX-FIN is a flow and temperature sensor for extremely low rates of flow – down to 0.001 litres per minute. It has no moving parts and the medium is in contact with only one material. Linearised and temperature compensated, the FLEX-FIN delivers very fast reaction times for a calorimetric system.
Need to detect loss of flow in chemical metering or injection systems?
The chemical-resistant Kelco CR20 Microflow switch, available at www.pvl.co.uk, detects flow of less than 5ml per minute and handles continuous flows of up to 4 litres per minute, liquids or gas. All wetted parts of the CR20 are thermoplastic so it resists virtually all chemical attack. With an extremely fast response to loss of flow, the CR20 is ideal for detecting loss of even extremely small flows.
Or how about super-sensitive control of back-up dosing?
The Kelco MF20 micro flow switch, available in UK from www.PVL.co.uk, is a super sensitive in line mechanical flow switch that can detect extremely low flows, either continuous or pulsed. Typical applications include monitoring chemical metering pumps to ensure they are delivering flow, in water treatment, cooling towers and in a multitude of industrial processes. There are no metal parts in contact with liquids within the switch, so the MF20 is ideal for use in aggressive media such as acids and alkalis and many chemical solutions.
The Kelco D30 level switch, available in the UK from PVL, (01892 664499) is a rugged versatile liquid level switch that integrates state of the art magnetic technology with one of the most fundamental principles of physics to achieve a sensible and reliable solution to the problem of controlling the level of liquids in tanks and sumps. Designed for either pump-in or pump-out, the D30 level switch is a world leader in water tank level control and effluent and liquid waste level control. It is ideal for slurry and high solids applications. The Kelco D30 is effective for septic and sewer pump-out control and for cooling tower control systems.
